AND I HAVE BEEN DRIVING BY MURPHY PARK FOR MANY YEARS KNOWING I WAS GOING TO VISIT; BUT I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FOR THE SUNNYVALE HISTORICAL MUSEUM RELOCATED TO THE SUNNYVALE HERITAGE ORCHARD

Right before Christmas 2023 my friend with the nickname 'Doc' had a major stroke; and after the ambulance left his house the most amazing and awe inspiring rainbow I have ever seen suddenly appeared in the sky above me over the land Doc's father once oversaw as a Sunnyvale farmer.

A major portion of old Sunnyvale farmland from Maude Avenue to Highway 101 was once a farm owned by Doc's family; but once greedy family members got involved in the distribution of the trust assets; Doc's father ended up with a small house and a new car.

Then when my vehicle was stolen by other thieves last summer with many of my belongings inside; Doc just happened to be at Safeway that day and offered to help me. I stayed at the aforementioned house for a few months until insurance money and hard work recouped a portion of losses. Doc was part of the house band at the Quarter Note in Sunnyvale; and I had been jamming there on the drums with various combinations of musicians for many months before the theft of my vehicle. Doc was not making it to the jams repeatedly getting sick; so I had been bringing food for him and his cats for many months before he helped me.

(Doc has been playing guitar in Sunnyvale for many years; initially making up to $200 per gig in high school; then ultimately ending up at one point as second guitar player for the Pat Traver's band where he not only played with a band I literally worshipped in high school; But he also played with renowned drummer extraordinaire Aynsley Dunbar in Pat's band while he is one of my biggest drummer heroes other than John Bonham. Doc also passed a story on to me about Aynsley Dunbar where Aynsley was once almost offered the gig in the Jimi Hendrix Experience!?! But lost the gig on a coin toss by Jimi; Doc is a good and beloved soul to all who know him)

Remember the lesson: Do good ~ and good will eventually come back to you...

Long story short; I ended up in the Historic Sunnyvale Lowlands taking care of Doc's house and roughly 11 trapped and released feral cats which I am currently still assisting. And I have heard about the supposed "rainbow bridge" for a long time now; where one supposedly sees deceased family members and pets (it's usually a pet reference) during afterlife experiences. Doc told me during his major stroke he saw all of his deceased family members and even his pets and also guitarist Ronnie Montrose who interjected "you have work to do". You obviously are free to believe or disbelieve his intriguing account; including spiritually devoid court-appointed psychologists; but I personally believe it is based in a deeper truth.

This literal overarching natural event made me believe in 'something' all over again...I'm not sure exactly what though...The true nature of the GOD concept will always remain a mystery; but one thing I do know for sure is that in ancient numerology the words Nature and God were numerological equivalents...And that a captured UFO alien once told federal investigators: much like human nature: "Nature is objective reality..."

(A Japanese friend of mine dreamed of a particular house his whole life then when he was in Japan he drove by the house and went up to the door and knocked on it and the owner said a family had committed suicide and/or Hari Kari in this house; so you are likely just tripping around in your dreams with your astral body visiting places from your past -- let scientists explain that...I also spoke to someone who was pronounced clinically dead twice and he said the light he saw was the Sun without a doubt both times...

Therefore apparently sometimes dreams are perhaps abstract creations of the mind usually helping you sort out what you are about to do; because you know what you are about to do tomorrow even before you know that you know; and that's what deja vu is all about; but other than that it appears sometimes in your dreams you are out flying around in your astral body;

I know one time I was dreaming about flying around above my house and then I started nose diving right into the roof over my bed and right around when I hit the roof I woke up suddenly; and in the dream it was cloudy so I looked outside and sure enough it was cloudy therefore without a doubt in my mind: when you dream you trip around...

After losing my deeply religious Catholic Mom at age ten; I became very interested in knowing what happens after we allegedly leave this planet. Then after talking to a large number of people who had been pronounced clinically dead and revived; I came to the inevitable conclusion that it does not end at the point of supposed "death". And I have lately theorized the alleged "rainbow bridge" concept is perhaps based in scientific reality as well: Not only does physics explain the emanation of energy from mass; but also at every moment that a person is passing to the other side; a rainbow is forming somewhere on the Earth. Therefore; there is always an available conduit for energetic processing and transformation encompassing the entire light spectrum to process this energetic emanation...

Doc remains hospitalized and has a long recovery ahead of him; let's sincerely hope he fully recovers and returns home soon so he can live his later years in peace and tranquility...

THE MURPHY FAMILY HOME

SUNNYVALE "TOYS 'R US" has appeared on numerous television shows chronicling the paranormal, such as Ripley's Believe It Or Not?, That's Incredible!, Sightings, and various other television specials.

Numerous paranormal investigators have visited the store, interviewing witnesses, employees, taking all kinds of scientific data, and even witnessing the phenomenon themselves. There is only one sure way to find out for yourself if this phenomenon does exist: When in Sunnyvale, be sure to drop by Toys 'R Us.

Employees have complained of stacking shelves neatly, only to return to the locked store in the morning to find the toys scattered across the floor. Box-sealed dolls crying "Momma" over and over, even though they could not be activated through their sealed box. Boxes of toys flying off of shelves and hitting employees, an undeniable coldness, and strange voices.

Ragdolls and toy trucks leap off shelves. Balls bounce down the aisles. Children’s books fall out of racks. Baby swings move on their own. The folks at Toys ‘R’ Us say they’ve tried to explain it logically but can’t. Many people have experiences, not just one or two of us. He’s like Casper. Nothing he does ever hurt anybody.

Sylvia Brown, a renowned psychic and paranormal investigator, was called into the Toys R Us and granted permission to perform a seance, to summon the spirit within the store. It was quite successful, as an infrared photograph was taken during the seance, showing the poltergeist, although no one could see him physically during the actual performance. Most of the paranormal activity is said to take place on the last aisle to the left of the store.

As the story goes, back at the turn of the century when Sunnyvale, CA was a small farming community, there lived a young man named Johhny Johnson. You see, out where the Sunnyvale Toys 'R Us sits right now used to be an apple orchard. One hot summer day, Johnny Johnson was chopping wood at the Murphy Ranch House, when he swung his axe, missed the wood block, and brought it straight down into his leg. Determined to finish cutting the wood, believing his wound was not life-threatening, he tied the wound off and bled to death.

He had a love interest during the time before his expiration, a young woman named Elizabeth Yuba Murphy Tafee. It is now said he roams the grounds where he died, not knowing he his dead. And the grounds where he died are the exact location of Sunnyvale's very own Toys 'R Us. (Now REI).
